Mathew Creighton’s interest is tolerance, which is woven throughout his work on migration, xenophobia, deception, and discrimination. He coordinates a Horizon Europe project EqualStrength that targets cumulative and structural forms of discrimination, outgroup prejudice and hate crimes in Europe. His recent book titled Hidden Hate: The Resilience of Xenophobia was published by Columbia University Press in 2024.
